The MK-II incorporates a higher, tactical cut at the rear of the neck providing maximum head flexibility when worn with ballistic collar on protective vests. This alleviates the common "helmet collar" contact when firing from prone positions. Provides unmatched Level IIIA protection, defeating 9mm 124gr FMJ and 44mag 240gr SWCGC multiple impacts. The helmet shell is trimmed to allow for maximum compatibility with NVG and weapon optics as well as gas masks and long gun retention. The shell allows maximum peripheral vision and no impairment from either ballistic material or suspension straps. The helmet is fitted with a fully adjustable harness system that can be released, removed, or replaced in just a few minutes.
