Introducing the U.S. Army Ranger School 1950-2010 60th Anniversary Knife by Ranger Knives.
The Ranger Training Battalion was started in 1950 to have an organized "leadership" course. Before that, "Ranger Training" was the only thing done prior to and during WWII and Korea. RTB conducts Ranger School, the Army's premier leadership school. Typically only 30-45% of those that start, finish the course.
The Anniversary Knife has a 440 steel drop point hunter blade. Handle is black Micarta with "Ranger Tab Yellow" colored spacer set between handle slabs and tang. Fluorescent cat eye drops on handle. MOLLE compatible black nylon sheath with edge protecting hard plastic insert and utility pouch. Blade thickness 3/16". Blade Length: 4¼". Overall Length: 9½".
